Global Initiative — Corporal Punishment

The Global Initiative to End All Corporal Punishment of Children keeps track of the legal status of corporal punishment in all countries of the world, not only those in the United Nations. It has the support of UNICEF, members of the Committee on the Rights of the Child and key international human rights organisations. Explore the Global Initiative site via its Site Map.

Child Rights Information Network  ( CRIN )

Established in 1995, CRIN serves more than 2,000 organisations in 150 countries. Members of the network include NGOs, UN agencies, community based organisations, research institutions, IGOs and governmental organisations.

NGO Alternative Reports:
Parties to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child are expected to submit periodic reports to the Committee on the Rights of the Child. Non-Governmental Organizations also submit reports to the Committee, which can be found using this Search Form:
